I am Steven Kellow, a graduate of the University of Aberdeen with a degree in Gaelic Studies and Politics.  I’m now working as a Funding and Projects Manager at Bòrd na Gàidhlig, having previously worked in marketing and IT.

While not nearly as active now, I maintained a blog for many years that covers a wide range of topics that I’m interested in, from my degree subjects of Gaelic and Politics, to my favourite hobbies including playing and watching Football, playing Video Games, listening to Music and watching TV and Films.

I’ve worked on other writing and web development projects.  I’ve worked for TEFL Org UK, the UK’s leading provider of TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) courses, for over three years helping them with their web development on several different projects as well as writing some helpful articles for their blog.  I’ve also worked for the University’s student newspaper, The Gaudieby helping to publish their newspaper content to the web.

I was a regular contributor to Scotzine, an online Scottish football community.  I helped with their 2014 World Cup coverage by providing preview guides of many of the competing teams as well as manning their World Cup Twitter account, providing live updates throughout the tournament.

I’m also the founder and editor of Obraichean Gàidhlig, a Gaelic jobs board designed to help employers and jobseekers in the Gaelic community connect, which has now run for over 7 years.
