Britain would vote to reamin within the EU

The UK has been traditionally one of the most Eurosceptic countries in the European Union, and has negotiated a significant rebate on its contributions as well as the ability to stay out of the otherwise mandatory single currency, the Euro.

However, Eurosceptic feelings have grown in the UK and now both the ruling Conservative party and the UK Independence Party, whose public support has grown considerably in recent years, both propose holding a referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU in the life of the next parliament.

All polling averages/poll of polls are subject to my own methodology and the individual polling organisations’ own methodology.

The following are poll averages of current public opinion on the potential so-called ‘Brexit’ referendum:


Public opinion is split in the UK as to whether to withdraw or remain within the UK.  Here is the most recent poll of polls:
